Who’s coming?
Chilling at the park, listening to some unreleased Dilla beats he has, he went over a verse he wrote the night before. We had the beat on repeat, it ended and started right on time to keep the verse’s flow, instead of the other way around. Fun times!

Mortal Kombat - Slum Village ft Vice & DJ Bonics is one of my favorites from the Dirty Slums Mixtape. I couldn’t find it anywhere online to just listen to it so thought I’d post it here!
“Talking crazy? Back it up! If you can’t, back the fuck up!” - Vice

Illa J with his tuque and Vice are hilarious on this! Focus kills it at the end!

Here’s a throwback joint from one of my unreleased projects. You can download it for free here http://soundcloud.com/john-regal !!! It’s basically a remake of the song my dad “ghostwrote” for the Spinners. Me on the lyrics featuring John Regal singing on the chorus and produced by Michael Angelo.
S/O to Michael Angelo, super dope producer. He introduced me to Battle Cat, another one of my favorite producers. Much love to the west coast! Don’ forget to check out the ‘Yancey Boys’ t-shirts at http://officialjdillamerch.com

This is a S/O to all the Illa J fans who happen to follow me and see this lol. What type/kind of music/style would you want him to come up with in a potential upcoming album or mixtape? What would you like to hear from him? I know a real artist does his art to express his self , the same way a writer writes a book. I am only curious to know what would you like to hear from him? (For those who don’t know who he is, he is the younger brother of the beloved and, to me, all time best producer, J Dilla)
Let me know your answers…!

Here’s Illa J as John Regal. This track is broader than what you are used to if you know about Illa J. Showing us here a completely other style, very rocky/electric he takes you somewhere halfway through the song and then drops it! This is the one I sifted through many other tracks that were leaked in the past days. The photo was sent by him for the post my siftin crew’s website; www.siftedbeats.com.
